When you retest studetns mid year using a different TYPE of test e.g. comprehensive vs adaptive , note that one has up to three areas that can be assessed at one time (ideas, processes and strategies,langauge features ) , whilst the other has all five (ideas, processes and strategies, purposes and audience, lanagauge features and structure). This will skew the data.
